The inspiration for Total Academy Nursery & Primary School came in 2008 when the Board- of-Directors saw the need to establish a world-class institution that would deliver educational best practice to an average Nigerian child without depriving any child the right to face any head-on challenges that could be encountered in their journey to becoming scholars. The directors envisioned a school based on the Nigerian/British educational philosophy, which strives to develop pupils’ intellectual, artistic and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner, so as to bring up a well-rounded child who can speak out in the society at large.
By September, 2011, a school was born at Karu-site in Abuja Municipal Area Council.Opened with fully equipped classrooms, with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching-learning activities. The library, laboratories, playground and all other facilities that support extra-curricular activities were readily available.

The school grew rapidly, and on 10th September, 2017, the seven years of intense academic work and excellence, saw the birth of Total Academy College. The College started off with the first set of pupils who were enrolled at the time of establishing the school in 2011. The college students and the pioneering staff didn’t relent in their efforts. While the students were ever ready to face challenges that comes with college life, the teachers were also constantly on their toes, researching into ventures that would make the college students well-rounded and thoughtful, prepared to cope with a changing post-modern and globalized world. The various college departments strived to provide the students with an academic foundation that will enable them to further their education.
After extensive thought on how to reach out to more children, in September, 2018, Total Academy opened a new branch at Abacha road in Nasarawa State, with 40 children in nine classes from pre-school to Class 5, Mr. Edeh Joseph Stephen being the Head of School. It can be proudly stated that a little beam of light that started like a dream has now become are renowned brand in the Nigerian educational sector.Today, Total Academy has over 400 pupils/students, 82 members of staff. The school has over the years produced pupils and students who are doing remarkably well in different parts of Nigeria and the world at large. At the Total Academy Schools, we aim for children to leave our school as lively, pro-active,confident humans, able to take initiative, with independent thought and action and the ability to discover their life purpose.
